THE FOUNDERS

Darryl and Charlotte Baker are the founders of Bridging The Gap Independent Living and Resource Center.  They started this quest in the fall of 2003 after watching a documentary on the lives of  "Aged Out" foster youth. From that point they were compelled to do something about helping this group of young people succeed.  They have been working diligently to make Bridging The Gap a safe haven and educational center that will help catapult "Aged Out" Georgia youth into their destinies. They will continue to embrace and build on this ongoing passion to help "Aged Out" youth blossom into stable adults.
